[ST] Re: Duc 999

I saw a pic of this new 999 in a some bike mag. I
almost heaved a gallon of bile when it flashed onto
the page in front of me. But....

Tonight while I was in downtown Snohomish, I saw a
group of about 15 ducs parked. There sat a 999. I
walked up to it and gawked for several minutes. I
tried to hate it, I tried to insist it was unsightly.
But nope. This a very attractive machine. I would own
one. Its a beautyful bike. The pictures do it NO
justice at all. The only thing that looked a little
odd to me was the little parking light nub or whatever
it is above the headlamps.. the rest was stunning. Fit
and finish seemed excellent.

In contrast was the Futura, which looked like shit in
the pictures and STILL looked like shit while standing
in front of it on the showroom floor. 

I had to throw in my peice on this one. In my opinion,
it is well worth seeing in person before knocking it.
