RE: [ST] New Guy Questions

I can answer your first question.
The cheapest way to get an accessory plug is to buy it from a John Deere Dealer:
Plug # RE11344
Receptacle #AL25073
BMW's also uses the same plug/receptacle and you should be able to buy just the plug from a BMW Dealer. (But be prepared to pay at least 4 times as much for it.)

Subject: [ST] New Guy Questions
I do have two questions for the list. First, does anyone have the parts
number for the electrical accessory plug? My dealer says he probably has it
but can't find it on his computer parts listing. The second has to do with
GenMar risers. My bike is a 2002 model. Does it need the extended brake
line? I have seen 99-01 listed with the cable and 02-03 without, but other
dealers say 99 and up for the one with the cable. Just by looking at it, it
looks like there is enough free play.
