Re: [ST] New Guy Questions

Hi Rod,

Congratulations on the purchase. I had the GenMars installed on my 02 after
I tried the bike for some time without them. I am 5' 8" with a short reach.
The GenMars have provided some comfort, but I still get a numb hand after
too much leaning on the bars. Periodically sitting more upright and letting
my elbow relax inward helps. The installation by my dealer did not require
the installation of the longer brake line. I would also recommend purchasing
a Throttle Rocker to attach to the grip. It will enable you to rest the palm
of your hand on the Rocker while holding the throttle open. Good luck!
