Hmm, the 2001 and earlier compression ratio is 11.2 to 1.
The 2002 and later is 12.1 to 1.
I personally run the best gas I can find.
At 15 cents more per gallon that's about 60 cents per tank.
I can't exactly figure that I'm wasting money...
Detonation is a killer and if you hear pinging you are only hearing 
the last 10 percent of the detenation - the other 90 percent you 
can't hear and is tearing your engine up.
I don't even run regular in my lawn mower.
