No worries Matt, i think the biggest thing we can
fault u with is that u left your bike sitting there
for so long in the first place!  How could u! :p

I have a story myself, I posted on the list yesterday
or the day b4 about my Sprint ST cutting out.  Turns
out the negative battery terminal was lose, had shaken
lose over time as previous owner must not have
tightened it enough.  I never messed with the battery
since taking delivery of the bike 2 weeks ago, and
only took off the tank to play with the clutch cable,
so that's where I concentrated my troubleshooting
efforts until I stumbled across the battery.

Live and learn....
