I've heard that running a bike for sustained periods of time in a wheelie
can cause the engine to become oil-starved. Particularly for bikes with a
wet sump. The logic being the oil pump needs the oil to be sitting nicely on
the bottom of the oil pan in order for it to slurp up its tasty viscous
goodness. In a wheelie, the oil is essentially sitting not-so-nicely on the
back wall of the engine, and potentially away from the oil pump.

Can anyone confirm?
