I seriously doubt an RS is as nimble as the YZF600R.  While it's the
most comfy 600 out there, it was Yamaha's supersport bike not that long
ago. 

The only bad thing I've every heard about the Yamaha is that 2nd gear
goes out on them after 20k miles.

I always wanted to get a YZF600R, but I don't fit on one.

Also, riding with a pillion on the 600R will be more work than with the
grunt of the RS.  Plus the RS has the option of a topbox.
