. . .and you'll see that there IS an adaptor available.  It's not
listed separately on the website but I paid US$140 for mine last
year.

If you want a high quality handlebar conversion kit which will
allow bar adjustabiblty in multiple planes, Heli Bar's kit for
the ST may be for you.  Click on the website photo to see the kit
installed on an actual Sprint ST.  Unless you need a dramatic
change in ergonomics, the only downside I see is the US$390
price.
