I sought a Datatool Turn Alert from Jack Lilley and allowed myself to
be persuaded to purchase a Kisan Signal canceller.  Once this arrived
and tried briefly in the garage it was apparent that this device
whilst solving the problem of failing to cancel a turn signal
introduced yet another problem in that once (say) a right turn had
been selected and automatically cancelled then a further attempt to
initiate a right turn signal would fail.  This occurs as the centre
position of the (essentially) manual switch is not reset and without
the reset the second push to the right of the turn signal switch
would fail.

I have since purchased and fitted the Datatool Trun Alert which give
a clear audible* and visual warning that you have failed to cancel
your turn signal without an automatic disable and am pleased with the
outcom
