Neal,
You're not alone. I'm a mere 5' 5". I took advice from a man I ran
into by chance on
the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2000. He was on a Guzzi 1100 Sport, and
shorter than myself
by a few inches. I inquired as to how he does it. His reponse was that
he realized that if
he were going to remain concerned about the height of bikes, he'd wind
up riding
something he did not love. This man gave me confidence.
I've got four machines currently, and they are all too tall for my 30"
inseam. I no longer
worry about height (though my ST has scratches on both sides because my
stubby little legs
could not find solid ground).
Take from this what you will, but I refuse to obsess about bike height.
