Neal,
Sounds like you are somewhere in the Bay area if you are going to
ride to Corbin. I have a corbin seat on my st and heated grips and a
heated vest. Drop me an e-mail and maybe we can get together and you can
check it out.
I live in San Martin by the way.
Al

Subject: [ST] Short results and some chilling facts
Hi again,
No bike yet. Rain last Sunday. Based on the results of my short poll,
I am going to ride the bike for a week or two before I mess with the
height. If I still want to have the bike lowered, I will ride to
Corbin, as I have not heard of any complaints with their ride-in
service. I like Sargent and the others, but they just arent local. And
if that's not low enough (for my comfort) I will go to LE in Cambbell.
That's not too far either.
Onto my next question: What's everyones opinion on heated clothing?
Specifically, I am interested in heated vests. I am aware of versions
from:
Gerbing's: http://www.gerbing.com/
Widder: http://www.widder.com/
Areostitch: http://www.aerostitch.com/
Chilli's: http://www.calamander.co.uk/ (sold in the US through Sargent)
Who's is the best?
And finally, heated grips vs. gloves: I tend to lean towards heated
gloves, as it is usually the outside of my hand that gets cold, but I
would like to hear the pros and cons of both.
My apologies if all of the above has been [repeatedly] debated in the
past.
Regards,
Neal
