[ST] Bringing Bikes to Japan



Spud has some very valid points.  If it were ME, I would do what you need to
do with your current bike, (sell if you must, store if you can or want to
keep it) buy an extra cool MC in Japan that isn't available here then take
it apart and ship it home as "Motorcycle Parts", then re-assemble it when
you get home.  There's a few hoops to jump through when you get home, but it
can be titled and licensed here.  Much easier than doing the same with a car
in most states.
If you're planning on moving to Japan FOR GOOD, don't even bother.  Sell
your bike and buy another one there.
