I hope it showed support.  I admire David for saying what he felt.   And I
admire Speed for actually airing it instead of sending Dave packing like
Rush.  (Well, I have to admire ESPN for SENDING Rush packing, But that's
another thread. :-) I just wish they'd have sent him packing all the way to
the Hooskow,  the hypocritical twat)
I, for one, can remember Motosport coverage BEFORE Speed, and it wasn't
much.  1-One hour segment on the Monaco GP ONCE a year on ABC Wide World of
Sports.  Coverage of the Daytona 500 and the Indy 500 and THAT WAS IT!  His
point is well taken that the reason there is so much NASCAR coverage is that
there are so many NASCAR fans.  Speed has to pay the bills, plain and
simple.  I'm just glad that in my lifetime there is finally somewhere to see
WSB, AMA, F1, etc etc etc.  Not to mention FLAG TO FLAG coverage of LeMan,
Sebring and Daytona.  I have never in my life watched a NASCAR race flag to
flag nor have I ever seen one live here at LVMS, (I did watch qualifying at
Charlotte a few years back) nor do I plan to, but I'd certainly rather have
a channel that was 90% NASCAR as long as the other 10% was racing I was
interested in.  Sure as hell beats the alternative, and WTF? Inside NASCAR
is one of the funniest shows on TV.  Michael Waltrip is a hoot.

Would you rather watch another infomercial for "PowerMax" snake oil or
"Bowflex"?  Do you know how your remote works?  Switch back to the Home
Shopping Network, for crissake.
