Re: [ST] Seized rear bearing

I had it happen on mine. But I have a '99, so I guess it doesn't count.

But the indication is you get a noise from the rear that sounds like
brake pads worn down to metal. It started making the noise in turns,
got progressively worse, and when I slowed to about 10mph it locked
up the rear and I skidded to a stop. No damage other than the axle
and the bearing, but it was very inconvenient since I was about 100
miles from home.
