Jim,

A couple of dealers quoted me $650AUD ($440US) for a "cut-down" version of the
service (whatever that is) - apparantly it leaves out *unnecessary* things like
caliper seals that are in the Triumph servise notes.  Of course, if my bike
was still under warranty, or I was intending to sell it, then they'd have me
by the balls I suppose.  I thought $1600 was outrageous too, if they gave me
10% more hp or something maybe, but not to change the oil and check this and
that.
