"Wet-sump" has nothing to do with anything.
The "clutch action" does not "froth" the oil. 
I doubt that RPM is important, but I really don't know.
The fact that the transmission runs in the same oil as the engine is the most 
significant difference between automobiles and motorcycles. 
The wet clutch is secondary. The clutch does not effect the oil, but the oil 
could cause clutch problems. So special additives like moly and such could 
be a problem.
In all of the oil tests / reviews that I have read, there is not much difference 
between motorcycle and automotive oils.

Use what ever oil you like. Everybody has an opinion, almost nobody knows 
anything.

Many many bikes have run, without problems, with automotive oils. I 
personally have never had problems with Mobil 1 15w-50 car oil.
