So Triumph dealers can only get a pre-arranged alotment of bikes?  They
can't just say, "we want 3 tigers, 6 Sprint ST's, etc?"  I wonder how it
works, like if they want Daytona600's, they have to buy Thunderbirds?
Or you have to buy in package deals, what?  Anyone know?

Regardless, seems like it pretty much ignores the laws of supply and
demand.  Hrm, if dealers aren't buying a certain bike, it's because they
can't sell them.  Why is that?  Maybe because nobody wants them.  Either
they can't compete (Trophy/TT600) or they're just not a popular model,
like small underpowered cruisers in the USA.

Of course, I'm sure Triumph isn't the only manufacturer to impose these
kind of requirements on its dealers.
