[ST] TSRA rally in Red River NM

The TSRA will be having a Western Rallye this year.  It is scheduled for
Sept 19-20 in Red River, New Mexico.  We will be home basing out of The
Golden Eagle Lodge(800)621-4046.  The Lodge has three different types of
rooms:

* 1-room, 1-bath ($45/night) Two people
* 2-room, 1-bath suite ($75/night) Four people
* 3-room, 3-bath suite ($140/night) Six People

There are only 4 two room- 1 bath suites left at this point.  Mark is still
honoring the rate listed above, just mention that you are with the TSRA
Triumph rally.  There may be some roommate situations available also.  Just
post to the list if you are interested to see if someone has reserved a room
and has room left.

There is a Triumph Dealer in Albuquerque, NM.  It is called PJ's Triumph and
the phone number is 505-323-6700.  Ask for PJ (LaMariana) and mention that
you are coming from out of town to the Triumph Rally in Red River.  There is
also a Triumph Dealer at the Motorcyclist General Store in Farmington, NM
and the phone number is 505-327-1492.

I will be at the hotel by 5pm on Thursday night.

The first meeting will be at 8am Friday morning and we then have a heavy day
of great riding.

Please be aware that Red River is a ski resort and is at 8000 feet above sea
level.  For those of you coming from lower elevations, please try to be well
rested and drink lots of water.  Coming to higher elevations can cause
drowsiness and early fatigue from lack of oxygen.  It is also late September
and the weather can be cool.  Though our "monsoon" season is over, it can
and does rain/snow at that elevation at that time of year, though it is
rare.  Come prepared for temperatures from 35 to 85.  It is not unusual to
have 50 degree temperature swings during a typical day.  You should bring a
rain suit, though if you are riding a long way you probably have one
already.  In New Mexico, it often rains here but not over there, with over
there being a mile away.
