Steven, you are indeed "dain bamaged" and it has nothing to do with the 
pocketbike incident, maybe much more to do with Tarantula.

I'm pretty sure my '00 ST will do just shy of 60 in 1st gear.  I seem to 
remember this from trying to check 0-60 times and having to shift into 2nd 
just shy of 60 for optimal times.
