Iron Butt is a subjective term, like "biker" I have
heard many different definitions.

The Iron Butt is actually a certification that you can apply for.  There are
a bunch of requirements, but the general gist is that you need to ride 1000
miles in 24 hours.  If anyone is interested in the particulars, I can
forward along a link to a website for getting started.
