I observed mine over a 10 mile stretch of highway markers, and it was
accurate to 1/100th (0.01) of a mile. And that is probably due to the
inaccuracy of me guessing when I'm actually at the sign as I zipped by
it at 70mph.
For a measurement, I did the mark off the distance of 3 revolutions and
divide by 3 thing.
