Yeah, I don't have a garage I can work in right now so I couldn't really do any
of it myself, believe me I wanted to.

He emailed me his reccomendation of Freehold Triumph.  I might consider that
but I'm moving to the even colder climate of Minneapolis this month so I'll
start all over out there.

Yes indeed! It is definitly what caused mine to fracture. The elbow was leaking
and when me and my ham fists tried to remove it I broke the one next to it.
When I replaced it I shimmed the tank mountings so it was lifted up a bit to
keep the two surfaces out of contact. It didn't seem like it was a service
bulletin I think the service manager just saw how the factory was changing the
frame and came up with a solution for the older bikes.

I probably would have too but the bikes been not running well and/or in the
shop.  I'm not that big of a weenie.
