I wouldn't use the above info as gospel, because that is a 1999 bike.  So
what???  It has a kyaba shock and from 2000 on, maybe 2001 they were
Showa's.  Something changed there.  Not sure about 2002 either.  Those
numbers are the best description I have seen to date but of the 1999.  I
have been hunting all over the place for an article I read on the RS having
a shock mount point higher than the ST, something like an inch.  Maybe a
halucination :-)   Funny that both Penske and Hyperpro are having problems
with the length.

I am going to do some more research on this.
