[ST] RS shock woes

Well here's the latest:
First try on mounting my new Penske shock was a no-go, it was about 24mm too
short. Got it back this afternoon after returning it to GMD Computrack
Boston for a rework. Tried to put it on just now, now it's 11mm TOO F'N
LONG!!
So for those looking to replace their stock rear shock on a 2000-2001 RS
(with conventional swing arm), the eye-to-eye measurement of a stock one is
365mm. This sucks. I'll be contacting the dealer tomorrow to see how we're
going to handle it this time. I'm getting damned tired of pulling the bike
apart (twice now) and putting it back together. I'll bug him to take the
whole bike and give it back with the shock installed. I've had about all I
can take, given the money I paid for this thing.
