RE: [ST] RS aftermarket shock

I don't know if Ohlins ever made one for the RS, though I know for sure they
did one for the ST. When I bought my Penske 8981 at GMD Computrack Boston,
Peter Kates went first to Ohlins site to look it up and came up empty, so
Penske it is.

Mine is now installed, and is FANTASTIC! With the Race Tech fork mods, my RS
is now more stable on bumpy corners than it ever was as a stock machine. If
you order a Penske, be CERTAIN to state it's an RS, and center-to-center
distance of the upper and lower bolt clevises is 365mm (plus the 12mm of
ride height adjustment if you need more ride height.

Subject: [ST] RS aftermarket shock

Maybe I missed something but I was following the thread about trouble
fitting shocks for the RS. Just wondering the outcome from whoever was
trying to get the fit right. Alos, did Ohlins stop making a shock for the
RS? Does anyone have any other feedback about the shock options out there?
Thanks,
R
