Yeah - I really want a Speedmaster though for some long range cruising and
casual weekend rides (e.g. to the beach when I'm not going balls out).

5-Have you tried a Thunderbird Sport?  I've been after one for years, in
fact the '98 TBS was the first of the new gen Triumph I got to demo ride on
from the truck at AMA Vintage Days back then.  Find a nice 98 or 99 so you
can have the Triumph "off road" 3 into 2 on 1 pipe too.  They are a hoot!
