Matt, I have been on both.

It is not really valid to compare them. There is more commonality
between my Tiger and the ST, then the ST and Speedmaster.

The riding position, power delivery, sound; everything is at odds.
Simply ride one yourself and see if you like it. More power is easy to
get with pipes, carbs (remember those?) and cams and timing.

Remember, all these bikes are designed to appeal to the cruiser market.
A 50+ hp engine, 700+ pounds of chrome and loud aftermarket pipes define
the standard, not 100+ hp, 500- pounds and sticky tires. On that basis,
all the Bonnies are winners.

If it's your cup of tea, pull up a seat.

On reflecting that he had done nothing to help anyone all that day, the
Emperor Titus ( A.D. 39-81) uttered these praiseworthy words: "Friends,
I have lost a day."

Heyer, Matthew A.

Anyway, a couple of things. First off, I'm thinking of getting the
Speedmaster. Test rode one this past weekend, and like I posted
previously, could really see adding one to my stable.
