[ST] Fuel gage acts up when the engine is HOT

My 01 Sprint's fuel gage has been acting up (goes to empty & low fuel light
comes on) after sitting in traffic for a couple minutes. The radiator fan
has usually kicked on but the engine is not overheated (maybe 1/4" above the
normal 1/4 scale gage setting). As soon as I start moving again and the temp
drops & the gage starts working normally again.
Any ideas?
