If I remember correctly around the end of `99 quite a few people on the list had problems with their radiators cracking and leaking and got them replaced under warranty.
At the time I checked my bike and all was OK, that is until March this year when my bike was just under 5 years old and I noticed some coolant on the fairing. Up on further inspection I found that the radiator had sprung a leak - Doh!
I contacted my dealer and they checked and confirmed that Triumph would not cover the cost of repair/replacement of the radiator.
I event took the radiator to a specialist repair company who pronounced it totally screwed, only a replacement item would fix it.
So £300 later I had a brand spanking new radiator from our friends at Jack Lilley
As a side note it's worth noting that Triumph don't manufacture the radiators, they purchase then direct from KTM (in fact you can see the KTM logo and a part number stamped on the top)
If anyone knows a KTM dealer, it may be worth finding out if it's cheaper to purchase a replacement radiator direct from KTM?
