Thanks Mark this is very helpful. I had planned to take the radiator to
a repair shop. But since the leak is not caused by some damaged fins I
was not sure how they would repair it.

I have found a used 99 radiator for $100. I am worried that it may also
be one of the 'bad' radiators. Do you know what the problem was and if
there is any way to find out if this is a newer 'fixed' radiator.

I am having a hard time swallowing the $550 triumph wants.
