<I have read these oil threads repeatedly over the winter. And they alway
end up with everyone saying I
use this or that and never had any slippage. So my question is:
Has anyone had a clutch slippage problem that they think is due to useing
the wrong oil? If so what oil
was it? -Martin>
i put a heavy dose of moly lube in my '67 TR6C [the "adventure bike" of
its day] transmission...which migrated through the countershaft into the
primary case. the clutch became a torque-limiting device of very low
capacity.
