[ST] Custom paint.

ST'ers,

I know some of you have had your ST's custom painted, but has 
anyone done it themselves?

What kind of procedures/techniques, etc do you need to paint the 
tank and fairings (w/ compressed airbrush)?

Do you need to sand and buff off the factory clearcoat beforehand?
