[ST] ST trade-in value?

Hey all,

Someone posted a bit ago inquiring as to values of our beloved ST's...but
nothing much came back.  I am looking to "upgrade", that is trade-in my '99
for an '02 or better, preferably slightly used to keep the price real.

Has anyone else done this that can shed some light?  On KBB.com I'm seeing
Trade-In value for a '99 at a lowly $3820, sad compared to the indicate Retail
of $5545.
