There's an oval with a bunch of numbers and letters in it, molded into
the sidewall of your tires. This is the DOT code. The last three
numbers tell you when the tire was manufactured. The final number is
the last number of the year of the tire's manufacture, e.g., "3" means
2003, "9" means 1999, etc. The preceding two numbers are the calendar
week (01-52) of the tire's manufacture.

Shouldn't take more than 500 miles and a half-dozen heat cycles.
