[ST] good freeway tires?

I don't want to start another long tire thread, but
I'm looking for advice. I've always and happily run
BT020s on my RS, until a job change this spring forced
a change from commuting on mixed roads to commuting
mostly on the freeway. The 020s have squared off
quickly and are down to the limit in the middle, while
the still-meaty edges are gonna have to go to waste.
Not ideal.

What alternatives are there? I'm now looking for long
freeway life and good wet grip rather than
peg-scraping cornering ability.

A friend runs and recommends the Michelin Macadam 90X
or new 100X on his RS. Other possibles look to be the
Pirelli Dragon GTS (same price), Metzeler MEZ4 (a
little cheaper) or the Dunlop D205 (price?).

If you've run on any of these, or prefer something
else, then I'd appreciate your comments.

Barry
2000 RS
