RE: [ST] good freeway tires?

100X's are a good choice. Where I am in FLA everything is flat and straight. I found the 100X's to wear well down the middle. In fact I got 12,500ish miles off them before I had to change. Only got 6800 off the stock tyres.

Only problem is the 100X were replaced by the Pilot Roads. I couldn't find and left over 100X in the right size so I opted for the Pilot Roads this time. Currently got 2000 on the Road's.

That's about it.

Subject: [ST] good freeway tires?

What alternatives are there? I'm now looking for long
freeway life and good wet grip rather than
peg-scraping cornering ability.

A friend runs and recommends the Michelin Macadam 90X
or new 100X on his RS. Other possibles look to be the
Pirelli Dragon GTS (same price), Metzeler MEZ4 (a
little cheaper) or the Dunlop D205 (price?).
