1) insert some pieces of sandpaper between the flats of the wrench and
the filter body. Use thin emery paper or similar.
Or
2) Take a center punch and hit each flat on the wrench to dimple it.
You should have to drive the wrench on with a rubber hammer after you do
this. I just leave my wrench on the filter on the bike and then drive
it off when I change it.
