Usually in the non-definable "coolness" or "desirability" category that
magazines use to make the bike they want to win have more "points".
Other tweaking methods involve giving just a little less points to the
favored but underperforming machine (e.g. if power should be a loss by 8
to 3, they give 8 to 4 or 5).  They typically have the winners they
want....
