The idea of a diesel motorcycle is not new. A French guy called Boccardo built one in the 80's with a Citroen engine and a Guzzi gearbox (the worst of both worlds one would say...). A pre-production model was favorably reviewed at the time. But Boccardo was then arrested for financial fraud and that was the end of it.

torque. Triumph should make arrangements to offer this in a Sport

ratings equal to the Rocket III in a package that delivers approx 98 MPG 
would definitely get attention.. 

No valve adjustments required --EVER!!!! and you could pull into a truck 
stop and park next to the big rigs :-)
