Re: [ST] Is it time for the Insurance thead yet?

I've been using USAA for cars, boats, bikes, and houses for over 25 years.
I hear what guys are paying much lower for insurance with Progressive,
AllState, Dairyland, etc, but when I go to them for a quote, I always wind
up with either, about the same (which is a no brainer if you ever had a
claim with USAA because they are great) or more. I've even had guys put
things like $200 a year for their coverage on a list. Yea, 1986 Concours,
blue book of 50 cents and they live in North Dakota where you have to wait
for a congressman to come along to run you over AND they only have one of
those in the entire state (please, this is not a cheap shot at the Dakotas).

If you think I'm full of crap, please point me at one of the low cost
outfits and I'll get my USAA policy and compare them apples to apples then
I'll post the results.
