Richard & all:
Not so fast, partner. The engine must be maintained at
the correct temperature, depending on the model year a
CO gas analyser must be set up, monitored, calibrated,
and THEN the new tune loaded. That's why it's usually
done in conjunction with a regularly scheduled service
period. The shop gets to use its time in a better, more
efficient way than when you just "ride in" thinking
it's a piece of cake.
