Since we're sharing war stories, I had something sting me multiple times
through jeans.  I was a newbie to motorcycling.  Almost home, one summer
morning, and something got between the tank and my leg.  Next thing - PAIN!
and lots of it.

I slammed on the brakes pulled into someone's driveway and jumped off the
bike.  Motor still running, but in NEU, it falls over into the grass.
Standing in the driveway I drop trousers (jumping and shaking them just in
case the perp was in my pants) to see what in the world was happening.  I
didn't know if a bee went up the leg or if it got me from the outside.
Looking down on the inside of my croch inspecting the damage, and you
guessed it, the owner comes out to see what's wrong.

Although that was 18 years ago, I'll never forget the embarrassment.  At the
time I wasn't thinking about standing there in my under pants with my jeans
around my ankles until the 40 something lady came out to see if I was ok.
My face was probably as red as the welts on the inside of my thigh.  I
apologized, quickly pull up my pants, told her I got stung, picked up the
m/c and went home.

That's a pisser.I had a yellow jacket sting me once. The bugger came 
thru my partially open visor, wacked me on the forehead[i was going 
about 40mph], recovered and stung me next  to my sunglasses on the 
bridge of my nose.
