Re: [ST] bmw R1100S



My ex had one...I think she liked the vibration.  Too much low speed side to
side vibration for me.  Quite a bit harder on gas and comsumes up to 1 litre
of oil per 1000 miles...it's in the specs.  I guess the blowby keeps the
cylinder walls oiled and 250,000 Km's isn't out of the ordinary for an
oilhead.

Good braking with ABS but definately could use a bit more jam.  Some power
loss due to the shaft drive but low maintenance due to no chain to oil.
