Yet another option is to take off the forks and send them to Race Tech. I 
respect the shop I go to, Rocket Motorcycles in San Diego, for recommending this. 
It is something they probably could have done, but since it involves some 
specialized machine/welding shop techniques that they do not do every day, they 
sent them off, with a notation regarding my weight, and I am very happy with 
the result. I forget what it cost-possibly if R/T worked a little faster than 
the locals, the labor savings could balance out the shipping charges. Dave Collin
