Good Grief, fellas!!!
I'm sorry I asked...sniff-I just wanted to go for a ride-sniff sniff...
I really AM ignorant - never  considered all the aggravation that  is
part of an "official" ride.God bless the organizers!
  My usual band of merry nit-wits just rents a N.C. house for a week,
does a daily loop, (out early & back at dusk) returns, imbibes, sleeps
and repeats. 

Adam - morosely scuffing an Alpinestar toe in the dirt & returning to
Lurk Mode.
