RE: [ST] Dead ST - New model in sight ???



I rode an ST4 (I think?  Whatever was available Spring of '02), and I didn't
like it that much.  I looks nice, but the seat was really hard, and the
ergos way too aggressive for a sport tourer.  I felt that if I wanted ergos
like that, then I might as well get a sport bike.  As for the engine, I
didn't think that the Duc's was any better.  Just my opinion.  I really love
the Aprilia twin - it's got a sweet tone, and great pull without having to
drop the gear (and that's coming off the triple I feel that way).

??? Have you ridden a Ducati ST2/3/4 or Multi lately?

But I'll agree with you about one thing -- if I were to buy a sport tourer, 
it would probably be the Aprilia. I very much like the styling, although 
the engine isn't as good as the Duc's.
