I do think you have something about the FACE.  I don't believe that plate is
actually rotated.  I just think the speed marks are deliberately painted on
with a 10% (8, 9 whaterver) correction for whatever reason the legal beagles
spewed out.  That is an easy explanation why speed is wrong and distance is
right.  On the RS however, somebody just programmed the speed conversion
routine to be optimistic.
