RE: [ST] Re: Front Sprockets....



Given the miles I get out of OEM quality parts, I see no justification in
trying to save a couple of dollars. I know for sure when I go to bolt them
on, they fit. When a friend tried bits from Sprocket Specialists, the front
one was obviously VERY cheaply made and fit loosely. The rear was worse, and
fit too tight, I had to alter the wheel to fit the slightly out-of-round
steel sprocket on. 

I'm the same way with brake pads, though not with tires. ;)

When I replaced my front sprocket I could not justify the extra cost for a
Triumph part. Does the Lilley part have the plastic? I swear I can feel
extra vibration.
