I Agree with Matt, I have a PowerMax on my 2001, and have no problem at a=
ll with heat. I, perhaps have cheated just a bit by siliconing to the und=
erside of the fender some asbestos braid. But I do truly doubt that this=
made much difference.
But, I must also state, that I would not have bought this system if I had=
heard it first. It is obnoxiously, squidly loud. From my measurements, I=
feel there is enough room under the fender to use a silencer that could =
reduce the volume to a level that does not call attention from three bloc=
ks away. =20
No one can complain about the quality, fit, and finish of the PowerMax.

I put a PowerMax Underseat exhaust on my Sprint. I rode in DC traffic. =

rode to the beach. There was no noticeable increase in heat for me or my
