I took this motorcycle to Daytona this year. It runs great. If you are
interested in something like this here's a good one. My buddy is selling it.

>THE BASIC STUFF: This 1997 KTM Duke is being auctioned/sold as a
>used motorcycle with no warranties implied or given. I am
>advertising this motorcycle locally and reserve the right to end this
>auction at any time.
>If my "buy It Now" price is used/met, I will deliver this motorcycle
>within a three hundred (300) mile radius of Birmingham, Alabama at no
>extra charge to the winner/buyer. Some examples of cities that fall
>within this "Free" delivery zone are: Atlanta, Mobile, Nashville, Memphis,
>Knoxville, Asheville, Chattanooga, Jackson, Pensacola, Panama City, and
>Biloxi. I will include New Orleans in this radius if the winner buys
>me dinner and a Dixie or Jack's beer.
>
>If the Reserve is met and the bike is won via auction, I will deliver
>the bike, uncrated, to the winner or the freight terminal of the winner's
>choice within a thirty (30) mile radius of Birmingham at no extra
>charge. Any other crating, shipping and delivery options need to be
>discussed and mutually agreed to prior to auctions end.
>
>THE BIKING STUFF: The color on this Duke is a very striking
>illusion deep purple/black. The red graphics and polished
>aluminum rims really set the looks of this bike off.
>
>This is the Limited Edition 620 Duke with chrome-moly steel frame,
>adjustable steering damper, adjustable "White Power" rear shock,
>adjustable "White Power" inverted forks, braided stainless-steel brake
>lines, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. It has the optional at
>extra cost center stand installed.
>
>These Dukes provide plenty of Thumpin' Good SuperMotard Fun! 80 MPH
>comes in a big hurry and there is still PLENTY left above
>that! In the right hands, this is a corner shredding tool
>that will leave many "Sport Bikes" in the weeds on a twisty road or track.
>
>Can you say, "Bring on 'The Dragon'!" ("The Dragon", for those of you
>outside of the Southeast, is Highway 129 through Deal's Gap, North
>Carolina. 318 curves in 11 miles!), or "Hello, Track Day!" Or
>you may just want to have some fun on the way to work, Grandma's house, or
>your next favorite watering hole (never ride faster than you can think);
>this Ferrari of big singles can provide you with plenty!
>
>The electric-start, liquid-cooled, counter-balanced Rotax
>LC4 engine makes this bike easy to live with in the city or on the
>road. Seat, riding position, and ride are very comfortable for
>my 5' 10'' and 200 pounds (those with less than a 30" inseam may
>feel a little "tall in the saddle"). All controls are
>light, logical, well located, and easy to operate. The
>front brake is "right now" and the rear is powerful enough, but will not
>get you into trouble if the going gets slippery.

>THE GOOD NEWS: This bike has just turned 4,000 miles. As far
>as I know it is all stock, though tires may be not
>be. Presently mounted tires are a Michelin Mondial
>(front) and Michelin Pilot (rear), both have lots of
>tread. This bike has always been garaged and
>well maintained (Motul Synthetic from birth as far as I know). The
>bike has a newer battery and voltage regulator. It had a major
>service less than 250 miles ago. It comes with a Battery Tender
>Junior, an extra set of new Metzler tires (well over $300.00 retail),
>a new seat cover, and new mirrors. As above, it has the optional at
>extra cost center stand installed. Needs nothing to ridden and enjoyed!
>THE BAD NEWS: This bike is NOT cosmetically perfect. It
>has some minor rash on the left (driver's side) where it fell off the
>(now removed and replaced by optional center-stand) side-stand,
>(twice!). Even more irritating, when in for a service, the front
>fender was attacked by the service shops Italian Mastiff "Guard
>Dog", Fluffy, (can you say, "Get an alarm system!"). No names
>will be mentioned, we still love you. There are new mirrors and seat
>cover on the way from KTM, but not presently installed. Close up
>photos of cosmetic damage are available upon request.
>I believe this to be a two-owner bike. I am selling it for the
>present owner. Delivery is free within 30-mile radius of Birmingham,
>Alabama and available at extra cost to other areas; also, see my "Buy It
>Now" free delivery offer under "Vehicle Description".
